We Can help with the following with our board and train programs.

About Our Aggression Board and Train

Our aggression rehab program lasts between four and six weeks. Our trainers will work with dogs that are aggressive toward people and or other animals. This training focuses on dog growling, snarling, baring teeth, lunging, nipping and biting or even attack.

Your dog will stay with us for the duration of training. During training, we will work on obedience and control as we also work on your dog’s aggression issues. Dealing with aggressive dogs is NOT a quick fix; that is why training is much longer. Also, not all dogs can be rehabilitated. We cannot change the genetic composition, but we will give you absolute control of your dog and teach you how to handle it.

Rebecca

Expert Dog Trainer
Rebecca Dabney was a police officer for the city of South San Francisco for thirteen years, nine of which she was on patrol with her K9 partner, Ares, a Belgian Malinois.  During her time with Ares, she had hundreds of street deployments.  She also contracted as a police k9 trainer for Trident K9 and multiple other training companies in Northern California.  She attended several K9 Conferences, handler schools, and trials during her time there.

In 2020, Rebecca moved to Naples, Florida where she joined Coastline K9 and quickly moved up to the Lead Dog trainer, overseeing the care and training of all pet dogs, mentoring new trainers, and assisting with the personal protection dogs.  In 2022, Rebecca joined the Coastline K9 North team as a senior trainer and decoy.  She also began competing in PSA (Protection Sports Association) and earned her PDC with her personal dog, Willow.  Rebecca also trains service dogs for the Rescue 22 Foundation.

OUR PROCESS IS SIMPLE.

We focus on owner training as much as dog training!

At our send homes, we spend 3 to 4 hours educating you on how to become the best dog handler! After your dog graduates, we offer multiple free training opportunities to strengthen your skills!

We put Suki, our 1.5 year old German Shepherd, through the 30 day board and train program. We couldn't be happier with the amazing strides she made in the program. The staff was very accommodating and gave us regular updates with pictures and videos to see her progress, and they answered any questions that we had along the way. I would definitely recommend Coastline K9 for your training or boarding needs. We truly appreciate everything they did for us!

We love Coastline K9! From speaking with Byron on the phone and in-person, we felt confident leaving our 1-year-old German shepherd in their care for a 30-day board and train. Elena was thorough with our check-in, gave us a tour, and spoke with us in-depth about our training goals and areas of focus. We received photos and videos during his stay through a Slack channel and were able to chat directly with his trainers. On pick-up day, we spend 3ish hours with Keturah to see Ghost's training, his vast improvements, and learned ourselves how to continue working with him. She even brought us to Lowe's to train in public with distractions and her own dog as well, so we could see how good Ghost was walking with another dog. We left feeling so confident in our ability to continue training him properly. I can now take loose-leash walks without fear of him barking & reacting to other dogs. His recall is LOADS better. He is much more engaged and attentive when we're working with him and walking.

Absolutely amazing!!!! We have two German Shepard’s a 1 yr old and 2yrs old, and let’s just say they dragged me through a park to jump into the bay causing a scene before Coastline K9. We had no idea what to expect when we called coastline K9 and were desperate for help. We sent our littler one first and then sent the older one because we were amazed with the results! Our lives have changed we take Hank and Helga everywhere with us! They not only treat your dog like there own, but also invest a ton of time into educating your whole family how to work with your dog. They are a family and veteran run company who values truly show not only in the work they do with the dogs, but with there clients too! They helped build my confidence while teaching me 1:1 how to work with my dogs both alone and then together. Byron, Elena, Keturah, Sammy and so many others, Coastline K9, we are beyond thankful for you!!
