About Our Board And Train Program.

A Board and Train program is where your dog comes and stays with us for the duration of their training. Our board and train program is ideal for people who either do not have the time to train their dog or those whose dog is exhibiting severe behavioral problems.

A board and training program can help your pet transform their mindset and live a happier life. The training sessions make up the bulk of your dog’s day. We offer specialized packages that are tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Depending on the dog, we may be focusing on one major task the entire duration of their stay or teaching a variety of new behaviors. What’s most important is establishing trust and a clear communication system with your dog, so they feel comfortable working with us and taking what they learn back home to you.

Rebecca

Expert Dog Trainer

Rebecca Dabney was a police officer for the city of South San Francisco for thirteen years, nine of which she was on patrol with her K9 partner, Ares, a Belgian Malinois. During her time with Ares, she had hundreds of street deployments. She also contracted as a police k9 trainer for Trident K9 and multiple other training companies in Northern California. She attended several K9 Conferences, handler schools, and trials during her time there.

In 2020, Rebecca moved to Naples, Florida where she joined Coastline K9 and quickly moved up to the Lead Dog trainer, overseeing the care and training of all pet dogs, mentoring new trainers, and assisting with the personal protection dogs. In 2022, Rebecca joined the Coastline K9 North team as a senior trainer and decoy. She also began competing in PSA (Protection Sports Association) and earned her PDC with her personal dog, Willow. Rebecca also trains service dogs for the Rescue 22 Foundation.

OUR PROCESS IS SIMPLE.

At our send homes, we spend 3 to 4 hours educating you on how to become the best dog handler! After your dog graduates, we offer multiple free training opportunities to strengthen your skills!

We love Coastline K9! From speaking with Byron on the phone and in-person, we felt confident leaving our 1-year-old German shepherd in their care for a 30-day board and train.
